Ceud Mile Failte!
A Hundred Thousand Welcomes!

Finished for this year
See you next year, Aug. 5 - 11, 2001

Come to Folklorama's most popular pavilion!

"The Scottish Pavilion feels a lot like you've come home. These folks have taken a huge curling rink and made it seem quaint and small. The entertainment is non-stop and you can stay as long as you want."

A huge Celtic party awaits your arrival at the Pavilion of Scotland!

Begin your Scottish adventure at the cultural display. Research the history of your clan and see tartan being made on a loom.

Highland games are in the spotlight this year, so ask about their history and tradition.

Load up your plate with traditional fare -- Scotland's national dish, haggis; Scotch eggs, mince and tatties. Shortbread and trifle complete a great meal.

With non-stop entertainment, you won't be able to resist dancing to the jigs and reels of the Ena Sutton Highland Dancers and the Manitoba Highland Dancers Association, or singing along with the Ceilidh Singers.

Wrap up the evening by researching family connections on a computerized data base of Scottish surnames, visiting cultural displays and picking up a souvenir.

Then --- come back and do it all over again!
