If you want to join the Jardine Clan Society, please print out the form below and fill it out. Please use ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. There are many ways to qualify for membership. You are eligible if youbear the surname of Jardine or if your mother or grandmother was a Jardine. If you can show a Jardine further back in your ancestry, please enclose a family tree with your application form. Any surname beginning with J or G followed by any vowel, except 2, and followed by RD can be accepted as a variation on Jardine. These include names

beginning Jerd, Jird, Gard, and so on. Any of these names can be preceded by De, Du or Del. Examples would be de Jardin, du jarden and del Gardin. In addition to these, people with descriptive names such as Smith, Wright, Fletcher or Miller, who can prove their ancestors bore allegiance to a Chief of the Clan Jardine may be enlisted. Membership may include the applicant's spouse and children up to the age of 18.
