Spelling of Names

For simplicity, we have adopted the spelling Mac for all of the names in the Great Hall of the Clans. However, there may be references to names spelled Mc, so it is best to try both spellings in separate searches.

Use your imagination when thinking about the spelling of names. For instance, MacGhee and MacGhie and MacGee.
