SOCIETY PROGRAMS
- Awards the Fredericton Society of Saint Andrew Scholarship and bursaries to students of
Scottish descent attending the University of New Brunswick; Awarded annually at the
Anniversary and Feast of Saint Andrew;
- Monetary support to the Fredericton Society of Saint Andrew Pipe Band;
- Monetary support to other organizations which support the objectives of the Society and
to individuals who request assistance to attend schools of instruction where music, dance,
history, writings, geneology and other items of Scottish culture are taught.
SOCIETY ACTIVITIES
- Church Parade: Sunday before Feast of Saint Andrew
- Feast of Saint Andrew: November
- Burns Supper: January
- Monthly Meetings: Fourth Tuesday of each month at the Carleton Street armouries,
February - May, September, and October (AGM)
- Fund-raisers
- Tartan Day: April 6
- Geneology Tent at the NB Highland Games and Scottish Festival
