David J. Whyte is perhaps Scotland's best-known travel journalist and landscape photographer. His work appears with great regularity in books, magazines, tourist board publications and newspapers throughout the world.
Although his travel journalism and photography have taken him to many contrasting countries, it is on his homeland of Scotland that he has most focused his attention. A deep knowledge and appreciation of all aspects of the country is evident here, both in his words and the sensitive nature of some stunning photography.
David lives in the foothills of the beautiful Angus Glens with his wife and daughter but much of their year is spent exploring Scotland's many hidden corners. David is also a keen golfer. His knowledge of the game and its facilities throughout a country that is also known as the 'Home of Golf' is an extra bonus for travellers keen to take up the 'cleeks'.
