The Clan Murray - Contacts

The Murray Clan Society of North America was founded in 1969 at the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games by Horace Murray and Harrell Murray III. His Grace, The Duke of Atholl appointed Horace Murray as Lieutenant-to-the-Chief and Harrell Murray became our first President. In 1980, John D. Murray was appointed Lieutenant-to-the-Chief for Canada to serve the needs of our Canadian membership.

The Clan Society publishes a newsletter(Aitionn) four times a year (March, June, September, and December). We are also in the process of computerizing our genealogical records. The initial membership is Canada $25.00, U. S. $20.00 and the annual dues are $ 20 Canada, $15 U. S. For a membership application please contact the Society in the U. S.
